2nd Update coming soon


Howdy!

The recent 1st update did a lot to improve the presentation and playability of the game... and was done in a bit of a frenzy! I've received some very timely feedback as to errors, inconsistencies, and the like. Plus some of my latest playtesting today yielded some interesting results. I am going to wait a few days to publish the new update, to let some news filter in and look at with fresh eyes, but here's what I've got so far:

  • Removed a couple remaining references to "Hit Points" and changed them to "Health."
  • Changed "Clothing or nothing" to be "unarmored."
  • Clarified table size.
  • Cleaned up some terrain rules.
  • Changed the critical hit rules to a six showing on the die "natural six."
  • Specified that critical hits will count as a regular hit if modifiers would make it miss even on a six, or deal extra damage if it hits.
  • (By extension, Blessed Steel deals an extra point of damage on a critical hit now).
  • Kings now receive one boon, not two.
  • Clarified that a model must Do Something to drop an Object (like a cache in The Cache of St Guy), although no roll is made.
  • The length of the Field of Honor Quest is increased to ten rounds. Still short but not prohibitively so.
  • Fixed some spelling errors (such as "Chrstian"). :)
